So I cut way too much fabric for the table runner and I also realized that we needed placemats with it. So I made some. Sort of loosely based on the runner, as those were the sizes cut, but some changes because placemats are much smaller. And they were not quilt-as-you-go, so I quilted them at my usual half inch using my usual wavy line.
The whole set has ended up looking a little more Halloweenish than I was hoping for. Probably the black border was a bit much, plus there is all that lovely orange in it. I love orange, so no regrets there. I do have a stash of Halloween fabric and nothing specifically Halloween is in this project. They are about 11.5 inches by 19 inches.
